ACWA are already well established in the Region with many prestigious water and wastewater projects completed and the Company believe this new initiative to be a logical extension of the their activities which will focus on odour control for the water industry.
The move will be headed-up by ACWA AIR’s Executive Director, David Harrison who said:

ACWA AIR delivers individually tailored air pollution control systems using best available technology (BAT) for turnkey engineer-procure-construct and commission (EPCC) projects. The company’s expertise includes an extensive range of technologies for air pollution control for gaseous contaminant removal, VOC abatement and odour control.
In the Middle East ACWA AIR has recently completed the design and construction of a large odour control plant for a new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) at the new King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).
The landmark project is currently under construction at Rabigh on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. The new odour control system will remove and treat up to 30,000 m3/hour of foul extracted from a WWTP supplied by ACWA Emirates LLC and is achieving more than 99.9% odour removal.
