Energy Secretary Chris Huhne resigns

Chris Huhne, Secretary of State at the Department of Energy and Climate Change, has resigned following the Crown Prosecution Service conclusion that there is sufficient evidence to bring criminal charges for perverting the course of justice after claims that his now ex-wife took penalty points after a speeding case.
